The lesson progresses on to four case studies for the students to evaluate as 'just wars': Vietnam, The Falklands, WWII and the First Gulf War. The lesson is completed with a 12 mark questions that requires a little bit of thought and reflection. References to scripture and key words are also included.

An assembly to celebrate and explain All Hallows or All Saints day 1st November. The assembly explains the word ‘hallow’ and the meaning of a ‘saint’. At the end the challenge is: How are you going to be a saint this week? It also touches on, and explains the meaning and origin of ‘Halloween’ but doesn’t dwell on that aspect. As always, the assembly is topped and tailed with a liturgical routine which can be omitted or retained.
